Daily, weekly and monthly scooter hire
Most visitors take a scooter for two or three days. If you stay a week or longer, the rate for each day falls. One day costs ₹750. Each day of a week costs ₹650. Each day of a month costs ₹550.

What we check before we hand over a scooter
- Brake pads and brake cable, because Munnar has long descents.
- Tyre tread and tyre pressure, because the roads stay wet for much of the year.
- Headlight, tail light and horn, which you need on blind bends.
- Engine oil level and chain or belt tension.
- Both helmets, for cracks and for a working strap.
Where you can take the scooter
There is no kilometre limit on your riding. Riders commonly go to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Top Station, Eravikulam National Park, Pothamedu viewpoint and the Tea Museum. Tell us first if you plan to ride further, for example to Thekkady or Vattavada. The 15 km limit applies only to delivery and collection.

Which scooter should I rent in Munnar?
Choose the Honda Activa 6G if you want the lightest and most economical scooter. Choose the TVS Jupiter if the roads to your homestay are rough. Choose the Yamaha Fascino 125 if two people ride together on long climbs.
Are your scooters automatic?
Yes. Every scooter we rent is automatic. There are no gears to change, so a new rider learns to control it in a few minutes.
How far does one tank of fuel go?
A full tank covers about 250 to 300 km on hill roads. That is enough for two full days of sightseeing around Munnar.
Can a scooter climb the road to Top Station?
Yes. All three models climb to Top Station with two riders. The 125 cc Yamaha Fascino climbs it with the least effort.
How old are the scooters?
Every scooter in our fleet is less than three years old. We service each one after every hire, and we check the brakes, the tyres and the lights before we hand it over.
Can I rent two scooters for a group?
Yes. Choose the number of scooters on the booking form. We deliver them together to your hotel in Munnar town.
